STUDENT LOUNGES

Your Students’ Association has created a number of common areas and lounges at both the Notre Dame and Exchange District Campus.

The Cave Lounge  If you’re looking for a place to relax, watch a little television or catch the latest Hollywood blockbusters, check out the Cave (Mall level – building D Notre Dame Campus). This multi-purpose lounge is now bigger and better than ever, including comfy furniture, improved lighting and much much more.

Lockers If you want to shoot some pool, play some video games or just want a fun place to hang-out, visit “Lockers” situated in the (Mall level- building E, Notre Dame Campus).

The Workshop If you need a quiet place to study and eat your lunch, be sure to visit  (Mall level – building E, Notre Dame Campus).This study lounge features internet/power connections for your laptops. If you frequent J-building, visit the ground floor where you’ll find lots of seating for studying or just relaxing.

The Spectrum is a safe(r) space for 2SLGBTQIA* individuals at Red River College Polytech Notre Dame Campus, owned and operated by the Red River College Polytech Students’ Association.

It’s a cozy, colourful room at the corner of E and F hallway on the mall level, room FM66. We provide a TV, a microwave to heat up your lunch, and kettle to make tea in your reusable mug. For fun, we have board games, cards, colouring, books, and hold events!

We also act as a resource centre, providing pamphlets and information on topics that affect the community.

Most of the comfy furniture found in the mini-lounges throughout the Exchange District Campus is funded courtesy of your Students’ Association through the Building Fund. The SA is also pleased to provide televisions in the cafeteria’s both at NDC (Voyageur) at the Exchange District campus (Cafeteria).
