Expense Submission.
All candidates MUST submit an expense report by Wednesday, March 23 2022, 12:00 pm, even if the candidate spent $0 on their campaign.
Please list all the expenses incurred through the election campaigning process, even if it is $0. Include any/all costs associated with campaign material as well as services/expenses incurred. The services costs will be determined by the student industry standard. There is a maximum of $300 total for all expenses allowed for any campaign. Demerits will be issued by the CRO for expenses over the maximum allowed. The SA will only reimburse the candidate up to $50 for receipts handed in for material expenditures incurred (Section 7.07 Elections Policies and Procedures).
For the VP Academic executive expenditure expense form, if a candidate spent $0 on their campaign, you would only input the cost of the Criminal Record Check in the form and sign it. We already have your criminal record check receipt.
Reimbursement cheques will be mailed out to candidates one week after elections are over. There will be no reimbursement of any election expenditures if the candidate is disqualified or drops out

- Cannot be taking a co-op or practicum during the year.

- 3 Part-Time positions(4 hrs/day) – Vice-President
- May only take up to 4 courses for the period of (May 1, 2022 till April 30, 2023)

This job requires the following:
Student Status
The President is required to be a part-time student during their term in office (no more than 2 courses per term). The Vice Presidents may remain full-time students but are required by the Elections, Appointment and Referenda Committee to reduce their course loads during their term of office. A part-time student is defined as taking 59% or less (4 courses or less) of a full course load in their respective program.
Executive Officers shall be in office:
- For the Term of employment as stated in the Executive Letter of Commitment.
- During regular business hours of Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm;
- During Summer Operation hours of Monday to Friday, 9 am – 3:30 pm;
- The President must work thirty (30) hours per week during their term of office
- The Vice Presidents must work (20) hours per week during their term of office
- VP’s will work an additional ten (10) hours per week during Summer Operation (10 weeks), making their total weekly hours thirty (30)
To be eligible for election as an Executive Officer, a person must:
- Be a registered Red River College Polytechnic student during the current academic school year of the election.
- Students enrolled in programs with daytime co-op, work/school placement, apprentices, are ineligible to run for an executive position.
- Meet the criteria established for the position as outlined in the RRCSA Bylaws, Article 8.
- Be a member in good standing with the Students’ Association.
- Not be an executive member, employee, former employee, or Students’ Association Board member who has been removed from office with cause.
- A cumulative (overall) GPA of 2.5 is required to run for and maintain an Executive Officer position for their full term of office.
- A police information check must be submitted or a receipt proving the record check has been started.
- Be willing to make the individual’s cumulative (overall) GPA available to the SAB, Elections, Appointment and Referenda Committee, student population, and the RRCSA Executive Director.
